Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills Queens New York. When she was finishing the junior high school, she moved from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. Between the ages of nine and 16, her first exposure to the industry was when she began modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. The process took approximately three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who received training in this way and so were Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to move from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles. She was cast as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she did almost every stunt by herself. She also established her skills as an actor. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to land a regular role in the show Friends.
